About

Sensorcast is an effort to provide an infrastructure for the collection, sharing and visualizing of sensor data from around the world.  We can manage the collecting and aggregating the data of internet-connected, and non-internet connected, sensing devices.  Whether it’s a phone, your pedometer, your computer or custom hardware,  sound/vibration, earthquakes, car engines, radiation, weather, physiological changes in the cell, magnetism, pH and just about everything else you can imagine.

We have been in existence for about 2008 experimenting with a variety of technologies and researching how to collect and manage heterogeneous data into a common form which allows it to be merged with other heterogeneous data to discover new relationships between physical phenomenon.

We have several projects in the works and some already online. The Wiki contains detailed information regarding each project and how to participate, utilize and interface with the Sensorcast tools to query and visualize data.
